PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR HIGHER EDUCATION UNITS
Has your admissions office spent an hour discussion religious, secular, and spiritual identities? Have you in your DEI office gotten series about the intersection if racism and Islamophobia? Have your organization too often felt concerned about whether religion or spirituality can even be discussed in the workplace? If any of those or many other concerns are true, a professional development training might be for you!
We believe that in 60 minutes to 4 hours, your office and area of work can truly begin to understand the complex intersections of religious, secular, and spiritual identities. And we would love to help you.
Whether this is your first time considering how to support religious, secular, and spiritual identities or you’ve been doing it for years, everyone needs a good understanding of this area of identity. So let’s help! Sign up on the form below and let’s discuss how we can help you!
HOST A CONVERGENCE PRINCIPLES TRAINING
Want to serve as a host site (or at least consider it) for a training with you and a few dozen of your colleagues from across the region? Want to be known as an organization and institution who is serious about religious, secular, and spiritual equity and inclusion work? Let’s work together to have you help us host a training on your campus or at your workplace. We’ll directly work with you to invite other partners and professionals to join in this one-day training and for all your help you will reduce costs and increase notoriety. These trainings take place in person and are specifically designed to help begin to go deep on professional trainings. Utilizing concepts developed by years by Dr. J. Cody Nielsen and the Convergence team, and employed on more than 60 campuses and within more than a dozen organizations, this training will help you take a serious step in the direction of anti-racist and decolonizing your institution.
